Travel Clinic

The Practice Nurses are trained to give advice on all aspects of foreign travel and the vaccinations required for different countries. A comprehensive range of travel vaccinations is available, some of which carry a charge. We are also able to provide Malaria tablets at a competitive price from the Dispensary.

If you wish to use our Travel Clinic, please collect the appropriate form from Reception - this will ensure that the Nurse has all the necessary information ready for you at your appointment.

The following vaccinations are available free of charge:

TETNUS
POLIO
DIPHTHERIA
HEPATITIS A
TYPHOID

Other Vaccinations:

HEPATITIS B - £21.00 per vaccination. Usual course is 3 vaccinations.

RABIES - £37.00 per vaccination. Usual course is 3 vaccinations.

MENINGITIS - £23

CHOLERA - £24.00 (Total Cost for 2 vaccinations).

YELLOW FEVER - £44

MALARIA TABLETS - There is a small charge for Malaria tablets, please ask for current prices.

NB: If you have been to an area that carries a risk of malaria and you develop flu-like symptoms up to a year after your return, you are recommended to have a blood test.
