 The Culverhay Surgery

We are a group practice providing traditional family medicine to a high standard in our own purpose-built surgery. Our website has been designed to provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been built with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or booking an appointment.

Dr Pritchard announces his retirement in May 2016

As many of you know Dr Pritchard has been absent from the practice on a sabbatical for the last 6 months. It is with sadness that he has decided to retire in May this year, and will not therefore return to the practice as a partner. Dr Pritchard has worked at the Culverhay Surgery for the last 26 years and he will be missed greatly by all of us at the surgery.

He has however agreed to work on an ad hoc locum basis at the surgery for the next year, so many of you will still see him around.

Dr Mark Porter, who is currently an Associate GP with the Culverhay Surgery, will become a partner in May this year. Dr Pippa Munro, Dr Nicola Thurston, Dr Grace Thompson and Dr Sophie Russell will continue to work as Associate GPs for the surgery.
